Notes on this compliation:

There are several different songs here bearing the moniker “Cocaine Blues”, and then there are many re-workings and i haven’t always included the original song, so if the musicology interests you’ll have to research – here’s just some music.

(Although this does finish with the traditional tune “Little Sadie”, even though that song contains no references to cocaine, simply because it became the basis for the “Cocaine Blues” that was finally made famous by Johnny Cash.)

Twist

The set is the study of fuckwit towers:

In the gloom illuminated by a solitary candle and shrouded in a cloud of pipe smoke sits the wizened doctor.

Just then the heavy oak door creaks open on its rusty hinges. Mice are heard squeaking and scampering across the floor for shelter. Enter the doctor’s long time assistant Bobo.

“Ahh there you are…” growls the doctor with some effort before hacking up a great globule of phlegm which he dispatches into a bucket beside him.

Then he continues in an ever more maniacal fervor “once i complete the transference i will have the power to bring the whole world to it’s feet! dont you understand”

At that the doctor breaks into a loud and long outburst of fiendish laughter which brings on another coughing fit causing the bucket to be called into service three more times, Finally he mutters “No of course you dont understand you’re a fuckin monkey”

Suddenly a change comes over the doctor he turns to his assistant and pleads “Bobo, Bobo is the nurse coming today?”.

Bobo slowly shakes his head grinning knowingly and says “Come on herr doctor you know she hasn’t been here since 1992 you remember… now don’t forget your medication”

The story goes something like this…

Before the tragic illness which cut short his brilliant career the doctor had a great breakthrough in the mysterious experiements he had been conducting. This culminated in a huge celebration which as legend has it was the most debauched party ever held, although none of the guests survived to verify this due to the accidental poisoning of the rum punch

When the already deeply paranoid and delusional quack curtailed his experiments he stored the amassed data on a series of arcane devices then known as “cassettes” which he had hidden deep in the labarinthine catacombs below the crumbling edifice of fuckwit towers.

An indeterminate amount of time passed until one day the doctor, now criminally insane, heavily bearded, lame and almost blind, was searching the cellars for any alcohol he hadn’t already drunk when he stumbled across the artifacts. In what remained of his crazed mind he hatched a plan – using the technology now available he would unleash his creations upon an undeserving world!
